Over the horizon

Whew!
I finally have a chance to sit down and
catch everyone up since the last blog post!
 Making lots of lefse.

Over 100lbs of potatoes.
Peelin'
 Rollin'
I've estimated about 1,000 sheets of lefse made in November alone.
 Packagin'
Chickens lovin' the mornin' scratchin'
Morning crystals against the sunrise.
Iced over!
With temps in the 30's and 40's lately, I love walking around sunset.
 I usually walk 1.5-2 miles.

Your speed doesn't matter, forward is forward.

These views are my favorite
Work on the front mount continues
My brothers belong to the Ford family
I am thankful for the hardworking guys I know :)
 Corn harvest got finished up
I still believe in amber waves of grain, hard work, faith and grit.
That grew this country strong and keeps us moving on. They get tougher as their lives keep gettin' harder. Oh, I think its time we all thank a farmer.

 Looks spiffy!
Maybe Joshua will teach me to run it this winter!
 Happy Birthday Dad!

A Farm is more than land and crops.
It's a family heritage and future

Dusk
More lefse.....

 If not NOW,
Then WHEN?

To most people, this is just dirt.
To a farmer,
it's potential.

"Life is not measured by the breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath away."

I look forward to these walks every night.
Views like this,
 quiet my soul and
open my heart.

Out there, beyond that horizon, your dreams await you.
And if you don't chase them,
someone else will.
