Oh the things I've learned since moving out......

1. I hate train whistles.....
literally
2. I miss having leftovers.
Cooking for one person is very difficult. I never knew what to make and sometimes wasn't even hungry enough to eat! Mothers are a great blessing in training up their children to eat whats put before them. I never knew how to cook small scale either, always had two hungry brothers to consider before ;) And I also missed sharing mealtime with my family.
3. Living in town just wasn't for me.
I am a country girl through and through and I missed my wide open spaces.
4. Its not wise for a daughter to be out from under the headship of her father.
I need spiritual guidance in my life and my Mom and Dad are the greatest people available to me and chosen of God for just that purpose.
5. Working away from home only to pay my expenses was a pointless venture and had no true or lasting impact in or on my life.
6. I have better things to do with my time.
I have God given gifts and desires, its time I start using them for His glory! (Hehe, I know He is shouting "AMEN!" to that one ;)
7. Guidance and direction on a future spouse (if the Lord is willing) should not be taken into my own hands or be based off of special feelings for "so & so". Plenty of prayer, direction, guidance and encouragement from my parents is most important. I simply need to keep my eyes on the things above and I know God will work out the rest.
8. I could walk to work.
Yes, a pro to living in town was the smooth tar roads, streets and sidewalks to walk on.
I love walking :)
9. Things get expensive.
Even with it only being me, my expenses were major some months. God always provided enough for me through His unexpected blessings. Thankfully my parents taught me to be wise with my money and to always "Give, Save, Spend"... in that order ;)
10. The greater good learned throughout all these past 6 months to a year now is that God is greater than any trials or problems, He is faithful, He forgives, He loves, He is my one true love!
Oh, and PRAYER is truly amazing thing!

So I am moving back home to the farm. Please be praying for me since I am also working. I have boxes to pack up and need time to move my things back.
What can I pray about for you?!

Till He Comes,
Emmygirl
