Goodness, morning are rough for me lately! But I am finding as I am getting up earlier I get tired much earlier at night...which helps me to get to sleep :)
I am content to be doing chores again! Hens are so happy to see me in the morning and come running to eagerly scratch through their scraps.
First step, cooking down the apples....trying not to let them burn :p
Last night I was doing the next step for apple butter . Today I hope to to actually make Momma's crockpot apple butter. Can it tomorrow, Lord be willing.
Joshua made crustless pumpkin pie and his homemade ice cream was a wonderful addition to that!
Peter has had a nasty cold. :( Please pray for his healing.
Both my brothers were superb help when I moved, along with our friend Joseph we got it all done in one day! I treated everyone to supper at Pizza Ranch, I was thankful for all the strong help :) Tomorrow I'll have been living at home again for a week!
After watching the 2nd Presidential debate Sunday night (which I found fascinating by the way)
I saw this "Prayer for America" to be a sad description of the "strong wickedness that's crept in" over the centuries. :(
I find Presidential debates interesting mainly due to the fact that I like to be as informed as possible about who I am voting for. I have yet to find a good truthful resource explaining the history on candidates running for election. In debates you can see true character, how they respond to criticism and how much they can act like babies in all their childish whimpering! Frankly, they also like to avoid answering very straight forward questions and somehow end up blaming the other person for the currently problems of the world. Overall, I find debates to be the most accurate in judging what type of person they are and the morals they hold fast to.
Frost got to my garden sadly, so clean it up I must.
Just have to collect and save some non-GMO sweet corn seed and green bean seeds.
Tried an experiment of drying some of my sweet corn as a special treat for my chickens!
"Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without!"
Devotion time!
Till He Comes,
