Hey Ya'll!
How are your Christmas preparations going? I finished up the last of the decorating here and will be making lefsa tomorrow! Momma did some baking today. And last night, Daddy, Peter and Joshua all cleared more snow.
Yesterday morning I did chicken chores and when I was finished I shoveled snow up against 3 sides of the coop. I hope it helps insulate it more and keep my hens warm this winter. Need to prep for another possible snowstorm this weekend! Yay! Snow melted today due to temps above freezing!
This is the West/North side....
...and South/West side.
"Mountains, I've made mountains! These are sure alot easier to move"😉😉
That afternoon, I went to visit the Comings Family! :) I always enjoy going over to visit. I also help with whatever I can when I am there. We usually have a certain project to accomplish by the end of my stay. I enjoy their company and to be sure, many laughs are shared 😊😊
We made buckeyes.....
Lizzy made sour cream coffee cake for supper....
We practiced some piano pieces.....
Lizzy can play Jingle Bells with her mittens on....to my astonishment! 😯
Supper was delicious.....Chris and Lizzy of course, couldn't let me take a regular picture, oh no....there had to be an extra hand and spatula in it for extra epicness 😀😉 (I am well aware that's not a word too just so ya know!)
Lizzy has a kitten named Mittens! Shes very cute!
And this is mittens mom, Misty :)
Caught her in mid yawn......
Lizzy plays piano very well. We are doing a piano duet together at Christmas Eve Service at our church. Unfortunately, she refuses to play in mittens....hehe.
Everyone loved my impression of an old lady.....or schoolteacher. Either way after supper was filled with many a laughs, smiles and dishes washed! 😁
Oh, and I got over my cold too! For which I am most thankful! :) mainly cause I missed smelling and tasting the food I was eating 😏
Goodnight Folks
Till He Comes,
Emmygirl
