Gardening to the glory of God!

Hiya again blog readers!
Today was quite an eventful day and very full of Satan's attacks on my attitude.
Thankfully by God's grace I still lived an amazing day for Him!
Found this piece of humor this morning.
Its kinda scary how this is so true......um...mainly because I've driven the wrong way down a one way....haha, oh boy, was that ever....fun. haha
Did some more work in another garden plot tonight :) I can honestly say I have missed pulling weeds! And since I have no tiller I just weed by hand and then use a rake to "plow" the soil ;)
You can just barely see it, but my last name is on that stake! ;)

I found a book I was halfway through reading a while back.
"Born-Again Dirt" by Noah Sanders. I highly recommend it by the way.
A couple quotes from it I found to be inspiring, even to me a simple gardener! :)
~~
"Because God always provides us a way to do what He commands us, I know that there is enough time in the day to get done what He wants me to do."
~~
"After putting in a new planting of bean or tomatoes or whatever I pray that the Lord would bless His crop, and make it grow lots of food to feed my family and many others. Of course I also acknowledge that it belongs to Him and if He wants to flatten it with a hailstorm, then He has the right to do that. When I acknowledge that I am totally dependent on the Lord to make me succeed and ask for His blessing, then when He gives it He gets more glory than if I had just hoped that the work I did would produce fruit."
~~
"Being a Christian farmer has many benefits. For one thing, there is peace and security for the farmer that he could never find in any crop insurance or government farm bill. When you acknowledge God is in control, then there is no need to worry."
 ~~
"Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Well folks, I need my rest. As fireworks go off outside my window, dogs barking and the occasional yell and swear word, I see the stars above and rest complete in Him who keeps me safe. May God bless the night!

Visting~Thunderstorms~Beach shower curtain~Blessings from the Lord!

Howdy Ya'll! :)
I've been gone for a couple days, visiting my best friend Anna! :)
God had perfect weather planned for our visit and we enjoyed
doing some; hiking, talking, eating, walking, wading, talking, iced coffee, talking, shopping,
eating, tanning, talking, and oh yeah, that little thing called sleep too ;)
I picked some lovely wild flowers on the way to visit!
Taken at the tippy top of Shully's hill! :) Very pretty countryside.....
and people joke that ND is flat :p
 Heading into the storm! :D
Halfway point, sun was still shining! :)
Loving the country roads around here!
I love that our bathroom has a beach theme! :)
This shower curtain has a story......
So I saw this curtain a few months ago and simply fell in love with it.....at the time though I couldn't afford to buy it since it was a whoppin' 20 bucks! But I kept thinking about it and bringing it before the Lord and I finally had the money for it and go to buy it only to find that it had been marked down 50%! I paid 10 bucks instead of 20! Haha God can do things as small and as simple as providing a shower curtain ya'll! Lets keep remembering to thank Him!
"Thanksgiving activates Peace"
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body;
and be thankful."
~Colossians 3:15

Gnight everyone,
